June 23, 2020 – Ottawa ON: PIJAC Canada is excited to reveal their Ontarioand Quebec based shows will combine into one large virtual event for 2020. TheNational Pet Industry Show Virtual Edition will be held live on September13-14, accessible to exhibitors and visitors from across the globe.

“Planning has been in the works for some weeks.”, says PIJAC Canada BoardChairman, Craig Brummell., “When considering a virtual show, it was criticalthat we were able to offer a platform which allowed for direct b2b networking,kept expenses reasonable and ensured the safety of participants. As you canimagine there have been many moving parts which lead to this momentousdecision.”

In the week following the association’s rapid shift to an online version oftheir Vancouver show in April, PIJAC Canada has invested in a high end virtualplatform and are focusing their efforts on Canada’s first ever virtuallybased, bilingual, pet industry show.

“We always knew that COVID would not keep us or our members down so we found away to move forward.”. Brummell goes on to say, “The shows were originallycreated to bring our industry together to build business relationships, shareadvancements and foster growth. In reimagining our shows, this year we stayedtrue to these foundational ideals to help ensure we delivered a platform whichwould provide the same benefits.”
