“If you spend GBP 39 or more and pay online by 8 pm, you can collect youritems free of charge in the store of your choice from 2.30 pm the very nextday,” states leading British pet retail group Pets at home on its website.

In the USA, Petco is promoting its so-called curbside pick-up by stressingthat this service “helps to protect health and safety of all clients whileminimising social exposure by ordering online and getting your items hand-delivered to your car”.

The Plaček Group in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and other Eastern Europeancountries confirms as well as Tom & Co. in Belgium and France that click &collect has developed into a very important tool to supply its clients withpet products.
