Over 1000 exhibitors from over 60 countries have reserved their place atInterzoo 2022, to be held in Nuremburg from 24 to 27 May 2022.

Interzoo, organised by WZF, is the world’s leading exhibition for pet suppliesand returns as an in-person event after a COVID forced break, with the laston-site exhibition being held in 2018.

Dr. Rowena Arzt, Director of Exhibitions at WZF, said she is very pleased withthe positive response to both the event and having exhibitors on-site.

“We’re expecting about the same degree of internationality in our exhibitorsas we had at the last Interzoo in 2018. We’re constantly receiving additionalregistrations. Visitors are also eager for in-person participation.”

Arzt said that Interzoo 2018 was the most successful event its history andthat registrations for the 2022 version are currently just 10 per cent belowthat of four years ago.

“Considering the ongoing pandemic, we see this as an outstanding result and itmakes us very proud. It’s a clear sign that the pet industry is anxious toresume in-person contact and sees Interzoo in Nuremberg as a way to do this –to present innovations in a tactile form, find inspiration in the variety ofproducts, discover trends and come together with like-minded people.”

As well as hosting global exhibitors, the program will also featureinternational experts, discussions on trends and market developments, sustainability, and presentations and demonstrations on the industry’s latesttopics of interest.

Positive aspects of 2021’s Interzoo.digital will also be incorporated in nextyear’s event, with the program available online at Interzoo Academy as on-demand videos.

“Our goal is to combine positive elements from the digital world with thephysical world in order to ensure the most convenient and effective exhibitionexperience possible. One of our objectives is to provide attendees with asmuch time as possible for in-person interactions while also allowing for thechance discoveries and encounters that distinguish exhibitions from otherformats,” said Arzt.
