Australian digital wallet and payments app Beem It is offering the potentialof cashback and rewards to customers from participating small businesses.

The program, called Beem Rewards, enables its 1.5 million users to see whichbusinesses are signed up and will encourage consumers to shop at those stores.

Mark Britt, Chief Executive at Beem It, said the rewards landscape is set fora big shake-up with the new Beem Rewards program.

“Beem Rewards is a major new capability that propels the much-loved localdigital wallet well beyond its renowned core social payments functionality –like splitting bills, keeping shouts civil and paying back mates.

“It helps consumers that opt in to support Aussie businesses and potentiallyget something back in return.”

Britt said the program is due for release in the first quarter of 2022 andwill allow small retailers to create tailor-made offers for their customers.

“After two really tough years, Aussies understand it’s time to back localbusinesses. Beem Rewards gives businesses a potent new platform to connectwith customers and foster better understood relationships.”
