**169 cats and kittens were adopted last week and are now feline fine in
their new forever homes.**
With RSPCA NSW shelters at a whopping 115% capacity for felines across thestate, the organisation is reducing adoption fees for cats in an effort tofind them forever homes.
71 cats and 98 kittens were adopted in week one of our cat adoption promotion,an increase of 51% compared to the same time last year.
For the rest of the week up until Sunday 25 April 2021, the adoption fees are:
- Adult cats – over 6 months – $180 now $100

Currently there are 14 kittens and 103 cats available adoption across thestate. All adoptions include desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, vet checksand up-to-date parasite control.
While the adoption fees do not cover the cost of the procedures andtreatments, it is the best welfare outcome for the animals that we reducetheir shelter stay times and find them homes.
There’s never been a better time to adopt a purr-fect pal who will want tospend all nine lives with you.
